Porcelain Veneers

Veneers are thin sheaths of dental porcelain that are affixed to the front surfaces of your teeth to create a flawless smile. These cosmetic solutions are ideal for patients who have numerous chips, cracks, stains, and gaps in their teeth that they would like to treat quickly and conservatively. The entire process is completed in two, short office visits. We begin by removing a very small amount of surface enamel to allow the veneer to lay flat within your smile. Then, we capture impressions of the prepared teeth and design your custom veneer. The design and bite impressions are sent to a trusted dental lab where your custom veneer is crafted. In the meantime, you will have a temporary veneer in place. This temporary protects your smile and allows you to get used to the look and feel of your porcelain veneer. When we receive the final product from our lab, you can return to exchange the temporary for a custom restoration, leaving you with a flawless smile.

Metal Free Restorations

Metal free restorations like composite fillings and ceramic dental crowns are often recommended to repair damaged teeth, but they can also be used as part of a cosmetic dentistry plan. If you have a malformed tooth, an all-ceramic dental crown can be used to reshape the tooth structure and deliver flawless smiles. We may use ceramic crowns and other metal free restorations in a variety of situations to help patients achieve a flawless smile.

Direct Bonding

Direct bonding is a cosmetic dentistry service that utilizes metal free restoration materials. In fact, it uses the same tooth-colored composite resin we utilize for fillings. The composite resin can be used to fill gaps in teeth, conceal flaws, and correct staining or cracks. The process is completed in just one appointment, and for many patients, direct bonding is a viable, single day alternative to porcelain veneers. We simply prepare teeth by removing any damaged tissue and applying an etchant material. Then, the composite resin is shaped into position. A curing light is applied to harden the putty-like composite into place, and you leave our office in a single visit with a beautiful smile.

In-Office Teeth Whitening

Not all dental discoloration will respond to whitening treatment, so before we begin a teeth whitening plan, our team will take the time to determine the causes of your tooth staining. If we believe you can benefit from a professional teeth whitening plan, you will need to choose either in-office or at-home whitening. In-office whitening is typically completed in just about an hour, but some patients experience dental sensitivity following this solution. If you want to brighten your smile more gradually or you already experience dental sensitivity, take-home teeth whitening may be a better option. If you decide to move forward with in-office teeth whitening, the entire process usually takes about an hour. We first need to place dams to protect your gums. Then, we apply a small amount of whitening gel to the surfaces of your teeth. Every 20 minutes, we’ll check your progress and reapply as necessary until you see your desired results.

At-Home Teeth Whitening

Unlike at-home teeth whitening products you can buy at your local pharmacy or grocery store our professional take-home whitening kits offer predictable results up to ten shades brighter for most patients. We use professional doses of active whitening gel, custom application trays, and a personalized treatment plan to help patients achieve their desired results. The majority of patients will wear their application trays for about half an hour each day for two weeks. You’ll see noticeable changes after the first few applications, but for optimal results, we encourage patients to use their whitener daily for at least 14 days. Professional whitening kits can also be used for a few days each year to touch up the results of
